Ellie and I both agree that it&#8217;s SOOO good to have them home.  We&#8217;re just enjoying being together and getting to know Josie.<\/p>\n<p>So far Josie is very even tempered.\u00c2\u00a0 She rarely cries for more than a minute or two and she has been sleeping very well.\u00c2\u00a0 She&#8217;ll conk out for hours at a time during the day if we let her.\u00c2\u00a0 But we&#8217;re worried that sleeping all day means being awake all night.\u00c2\u00a0 So we&#8217;ve been trying to wake her up and keep her engaged.\u00c2\u00a0 The coolest thing however is how Josie (even at this early stage) really watches whatever Ellie does.<\/p>\n<p>And Ellie, for her part,\u00c2\u00a0 has been a wonderful big sister.\u00c2\u00a0 She is eager to help out with bottle feedings, diaper changes, and all the other little baby tasks.\u00c2\u00a0 (Her favorite is burping the baby&#8230; and she&#8217;s good at it!)\u00c2\u00a0 Obviously this is a big adjustment for Ellie, and there have been a few moments when she&#8217;s acted out.\u00c2\u00a0 But overall she seems very happy about the changes to her world.\u00c2\u00a0 We are trying to stay very attentive to her needs and feelings.<\/p>\n<p>Oh hey, another thing.\u00c2\u00a0 I added a few more pictures to the gallery in the post below this one.\u00c2\u00a0 New ones start <a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/swordplay.net\/JosieSFirstDays#slideshow\/5349919580151207778\">here<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 They are as cute and precious as you might expect.\u00c2\u00a0 There are a number of adorable videos that I will get online in the near future, as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tara and Josie came home from the hospital yesterday.
